Increase Modem Speed

Hey, wanna increase you modem speed? follow this !!


1. open your device manager

open the modem properties

in the Avanced Tab --> Extra initialization commands

type this AT&FX

for me it gave a 115K speed

If you had a dialup connection then the effective speed still remains the same. What improves by changing initialization commands is a clearer or a more stable connection.

Also AT&FX is supported for LT Winmodem only.


2. For GPRS MODEMS

AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","**","",0,0

you can use this commmand to get 115 speed for yout gprs modem...

same as the modem properties....
advance tabe=>command initialization part.
replace the ** rs by NETWORK PROVIDER LINK
